Ingredients

  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees Celsius). In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and baking powder. Sit on one side.
  2. Mix sugar and butter together in a bowl. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Slowly mix in the dry ingredients. Put round teaspoons of flour into balls, and place on irregular cookie sheets.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden. Stand on the cookie sheet two minutes before removing the wire racks to cool.

Peanut Butter Cookie:

Ingredients

  • 200g peanut butter(crunchy or smooth is fine)
  • 175g golden caster sugar
  • ¼ tsp fine table salt
  • 1 large egg

How to Make

  1. Heat oven to 180C / 160C fan / gas 4 and line 2 large baking tray with baking sheet.
  2. Measure peanut butter and sugar in a bowl. Add 3 tablespoons of table salt and mix well with a wooden spoon. Add egg and mix again until the mixture becomes dough.
  3. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Place it on a tray. Press the cookies down with a fork to squash them a little.
  4. Cookies can now be frozen for 2 months, bake frozen which will add 2 minutes to one minute of cooking time.
  5. Bake for 12 minutes, until golden around the edges and piled in the center. Cool on a tray for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire and let cool completely.

  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed

  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt

How to Make

  1. Line the preheated oven with baking paper at 375 degrees F and set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder. Sit on one side.
  3. Mix butter and sugar together.
  4. Beat until fluffy in eggs and vanilla.
  5. Mix in the dry ingredients until combined, then add chocolate chips and mix well.
  6. Roll 2-3 TBS dough into balls at a time and place them evenly on the prepared cookie sheets.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes. Take them out when they are too small to start gray.
  8. Let them sit on the baking pan for 2 minutes before removing the cooling rack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon anise extract, or 3 drops anise oil

How to Make

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees Celsius). Line with greasy cookie sheets or parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the oil, eggs, sugar and sorghum to taste until well combined. Combine flour and baking powder, stir in egg mixture to make the heavy dough.

  3. Stir in flour, tartar cream, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  4. Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl.
