Govt Decides No Change in Petrol Prices For Next 15 Days

The government of Pakistan said on Wednesday that they have decided to maintain the price of petrol and reduce the price of high-speed diesel by Rs 2.40 per liter for the next 15 days. This announcement was made on the directive of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to PM’s office, “There is no increase in the price of petrol prices for the next 15 days and while HSD price is reduced of Rs 2.40 per liter”.

The current price of petrol is Rs 103.97 per liter while diesel, kerosene and light diesel are priced at Rs 106.6, Rs 65.29 and Rs 62.86 per liter respectively.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) in its summary to the Petroleum Division had proposed a reduction of Rs 1.15 per liter in the price of petrol during the first 15 days of October.
All the fuel prices in Pakistan have remained at the same level for the last 15 days, when on October 15, 2020, the Finance Division issued a statement for the same.
